The Healthy Communities movement, in the U.S. and internationally, is based on the understanding that health, on both the individual and community levels, is affected by a wide range of factors including economic and environmental stability, cultural opportunities, social justice and political access. Healthy Communities Massachusetts (HCM) is a program of AHEC/Community Partners.
